SunnyD brought Halloween back on Aug 26 with SpookyD, a mystery-flavor drink sold only at Walmart. The wordmark and orange cap stay put. Around them the jug becomes a purple haunted-house scene, and the cream-colored liquid gives nothing away about the flavor. SunnyD built its recognition on a color you can read before a single word, a bright orange glowing through a clear jug on the shelf. SpookyD sets that aside on purpose. The liquid turns a soft, milky cream, so the cue shoppers lean on to know what's inside stops working, and the label has to carry the whole idea. That's where the haunted house earns its keep. A purple dusk, a leaning mansion, bats overhead and a friendly ghost turn a lunchbox staple into a seasonal object for a few weeks, while the brand's own blue wordmark sits dead center so nobody loses the thread of what they're holding.
SunnyD unveiled SpookyD, a limited-edition mystery-flavor drink made for Halloween, on Aug 26, 2026. It's sold in 18-packs of 6.75-ounce bottles and one-gallon jugs at Walmart stores nationwide starting in August, while supplies last.
SunnyD is a brand people know by its bright orange, visible through a clear jug. SpookyD keeps the wordmark and orange cap but wraps the jug in a purple haunted-house night with bats and a ghost, and the drink inside goes a pale cream, so the label carries the seasonal story in place of the color.
SpookyD is a Walmart exclusive, available at Walmart stores nationwide starting in August 2026 while supplies last, in 18-packs of 6.75-ounce bottles and one-gallon jugs.
